Application: Sales Engineer

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field

• Enthusiasm for assisting customers with technical questions and engineering guidance concerning equipment application, installation, operation, and repair

• Good communicator who can speak and write about machinery to engineers, plant managers, and company owners

• Eager to provide engineering guidance to other members of our team

• Would like to receive extensive field training which leads to a more complete understanding of customer needs

• Interest in hands-on experience fine-tuning and adjusting specialized machinery and operator screens

• Desire to visit customers regularly, typically travelling about 1/3 of the time.

• Ability to manage a productive, defined territory with established customers

• Previous experience in an industrial work environment is valuable

• AutoCAD and/or 3-D model drawing software experience

• Ability to live within commuting distance of our office in Salem, Oregon

• Ability to legally enter Canada

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. during on-site visits, start-ups, etc. in food processing plants
