Application: Territory Manager

Requirements

  • Ability to manage a productive, defined territory with established customers
  • Enthusiasm for assisting customers with technical questions and guidance concerning equipment application, installation, operation, and repair
  • Good communicator who is interested in equipment and can speak and write about machinery to engineers, plant managers, and company owners
  • Eager to receive extensive field training which leads to a more complete understanding of customer needs 
  • Interest in hands-on experience fine-tuning and adjusting specialized machinery and operator screens
  • Desire to visit customers regularly, typically travelling about 1/3 of the time
  • Three or more years’ successful experience in industrial sales
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in an industrial field 
  • Ability to live within commuting distance of our office in Salem, Oregon
  • Ability to legally enter Canada
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. during on-site visits, start-ups, etc. in food processing plants
